Privacy Policy

Effective November 2, 2026

The short version

Vectors has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. We don't sell or share your personal information, and we don't run servers that store it.

Your location

With your permission, Vectors uses your device's location to find the nearest airport that matches your settings. To show weather, the app sends coordinates for the area you're viewing (your location or a chosen airport) to the weather and map services listed below. They receive that location with the request, as any website or app would, but not your name or any account details. You can turn location off at any time in iOS Settings and use saved airports instead.

Services the app contacts

Apple WeatherKit (forecasts), Open-Meteo (backup forecasts and winds aloft), AviationWeather.gov (METARs, TAFs, airport data), the FAA (NOTAMs, airspace and runway data), NOAA radar through the Iowa Environmental Mesonet, OpenStreetMap (airfield layouts), OurAirports (runway data), and Amazon Web Services Terrain Tiles (terrain). Each service handles requests under its own privacy policy.

Stored on your device

Your settings, saved airports, and cached weather, terrain, and map data are stored only on your iPhone, and shared with the Vectors widgets on the same device. Deleting the app deletes them. We never see this information.

Purchases

Vectors Pro is purchased through Apple. Apple processes the payment and tells the app only whether Pro is unlocked. We don't receive your payment information or Apple Account details.

Children

Vectors is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, we'll update it here with a new effective date. Questions: support@v2fsupply.com. Vectors is published by Jose Mendez, doing business as V2F Supply Co. (Nevada, USA).
